New Beginnings

For churches with new pastors and pastors serving a new church.

How we start a new appointment is very important. We all want to belong, be appreciated, and be valued. The New Beginnings workshop gives congregations and pastors tools to work together and fulfill their desire for the church to thrive, members to grow, and pastor(s) to live out their call.

The workshop will cover four cornerstones that help laity and clergy build solid relationships that will help their church thrive.

  1. Cornerstone 1: Building community through prayer, worship and study.
  2. Cornerstone 2: Building the church family through short-term cluster meetings and other church activities.
  3. Cornerstone 3: Building community through understanding community and church.
  4. Cornerstone 4: Building a church by developing a clear vision, mission, and goals.

Join us at the New Beginnings workshop to learn more about implementing these cornerstones in your church. The workshop is designed for both people in churches receiving a new pastor and pastors moving to a new church.
